Privacy Policy

We deeply value privacy. We don't collect KYC. We only accept crypto payment. We really only require email as a signup option so that we can contact you and make sure your experience is good / notifiy you when your balance is low.

That said, we have to balance the potential damange that a bad user could do with a phone, against privacy. So we don't agressively invade your privacy unneccessarily, but we do have automated system to detect spam / fraud

We reserve the right to collect anything and everything we can, via your use of the service, in order to operate and improve the service and to identify and ban bad users.

We do not sell your personal data, we don't need to, it's a profitable paid service. Email hardlinephone@protonmail.com with any privacy questions or requests.

Changes. We may update this policy at any time; continued use of the service means you accept the current version.

Terms & Conditions

The service. Hardline Phone provides dedicated real US phone numbers and remote Android/iPhone access as recurring monthly subscriptions, billed against your account balance. Numbers and hardware remain our property at all times — you get a right to use them, not ownership, and we may substitute equivalent hardware or a different number at our discretion.

Acceptable use. Legitimate business use, including marketing, is welcome. The service may not be used for anything illegal or for scamming or defrauding others.

Spam, scams & bans. We may suspend or terminate any account at any time, for any reason, at our sole discretion, without notice.

  • Accounts engaged in spam will typically be banned and any unused balance refunded.
  • Accounts engaged in scams, fraud, illegal activity, or abuse of our systems or any third-party platform will be banned immediately with no refund of any fees, balance, or subscription payments, and may be reported to relevant authorities.
  • What counts as spam, a scam, fraud, or abuse is determined solely by us, and our decision is final. We know it when we see it.

Payments. Subscriptions are billed monthly against your balance. Everything is non-refundable except as stated above, but if you misunderstood / bought the wrong thing, we may offer a refund if we choose to, but no promises. An insufficient balance will probably result in suspension of your number or device, and we may delete / wipe it if we don't hear back from you after a follow up or two in areasonable amount of time. So keep your balance topped up! It's super annoying when (e.g.) ProtonMail deletes one of my old accounts due to neglect: I'd have paid so much to get it back sometimes. So I understand your pain: we may decide to keep your phone alive but inaccessible, if you stop replying and don't top up, but no promises. Maybe your balance will continue to go negative if we feel you're likely to return and we'll give you the chance to get back in the black. Just reach out if you're not sure!

No third-party guarantees. We don't guarantee that any third-party platform will accept, verify, or continue to accept a number or device we provide. It's a moving feast, and services are often ban-happy anyway. Using our service to verify or maintain accounts on other platforms is at your own risk.

Cancellation. You may cancel anytime from your billing page, or just email us if that's easier. We may suspend or terminate your account or these Terms at any time, for any or no reason, with or without notice.

No warranty. The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

Limitation of liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of access to any third-party account.

Indemnity. You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim arising from your use of the service or breach of these Terms.

Changes. We may update these Terms at any time; continued use after a change means you accept the new Terms.

Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and any dispute will be handled exclusively in the courts of that jurisdiction.

Law enforcement. We're on the side of freedom, privacy, law & order, and good. So police, please do reach out if you're catching CSAM / scammers etc. That said, we aim to leave normal businesses and lightly blackhat legal marketing people alone.
